Loved the house itself and its location in the town. Everything was beautiful and clean. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was new, clean and well set up. Easy to walk around the town, or to drive to other nearby locations. Also the hosts were very easy to contact and responded quickly when we had a question.

Perfect in every way!!! Spacious and nicely decorated. Modern yet felt like I was in a New England home. We appreciated all the little details throughout. Walking distance to “downtown” Salem and Pickering Wharf.All communication was top notch too. Highly recommend!!

A really lovely place to stay - every bit as besutiful as the pictures - well equipped and thoughtfully supplied with essentials for cooking and cleaning. Helpfu and communicative owner. Would certainly go again No washing machine!

Lovely mansion home, comfortable modern facilities on a huge scenic property with it's own small lake and close to walking trails. Easy access in East Gloucester. Good heating during a chilly early spring stay for my party of 10. Comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen space and large common rooms for entertaining. The host was very quick with responses to requests and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property to larger groups staying on Cape Ann. Everyone in my party enjoyed our eight days at the Cranberry Hill estate. We had no complaints during our stay. Plenty of linen, and a modern washer and dryer and modern kitchen.

We completely enjoyed our six week stay at the Mariner. It was beautifully updated with an incredibly well equipped kitchen. The hosts were great to work with and were accommodating and responsive. We are looking forward to returning next year.!

This was our second stay, and like the first, it was excellent. The apartment is just about perfect for a couple: it's small with one bedroom, but it's clean and well equipped with almost everything you'd need. The kitchen is tiny, but has everything needed for light meals. The hostess is friendly, eager to help, and an excellent communicator. We plan on making this our 'go to' place when we visit Salem. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed at Rachel's place - we absolutely love it! The views are spectacular, and it is a wonderful location! Rachel provides excellent communication. We will be back again for a third visit next year!

This is our second time staying at this house and first time in the first-floor unit. As with our first stay, everything was perfect. The communication with Rachael was beyond fast and easy. The home had everything you could need plus more. It is hard to find adequate parking in Rockport, but not here! everything from check-in to checkout was seamless and you are in the heart of the town with easy access to the beach and shopping. We will gladly stay here again!

Rachel and her husband are wonderful, responsive hosts. The house is lovely and accommodated our family of four perfectly. The best part is the location which could not be more ideal. Directly across from the house is a paved walking trail by the ocean surrounded by gorgeous gardens tended by garden club volunteers, statues commemorating those lost at sea and WWII heroes who lost their lives. The walking trail leads into Stage Fork Park that features foliage and rock formations. Just a half mile walk away is the wharf where we enjoyed a sunset cruise and amazing restaurants. Our favorite beach spot was Good Harbor Beach, a short drive away. A large beach that includes all of the amenities and enough wave action to satisfy our two adult sons! Side trips to Salem to explore the history of that city (very cool vibe) and the North Shore Music Theater where we were entertained by a talented group of performers in Grease rounded out a memorable week. At the end of each busy day we appreciated a comfortable and well equipped home away from home! We will be back to explore more areas of the north shore and hope to make this our home base!!!
