Rachel’s home was exactly what we were looking for when visiting Salem. It had the basic amenities we needed to enjoy our stay that really made it feel like "home." It was located in a perfect area tucked away by downtown - which was less than a 10-minute walk. My favorite perk from this hidden gem was that I was able to walk less than two minutes to have breakfast at the famous "Black Cat Diner" (which I HIGHLY recommend!!). Parking was an absolute breeze, finding parking right by our door and there was decent street parking if needed! Rachel was always available for any questions we had and suggested some great places to visit within the Salem community. I can't wait to visit Salem again and stay in this hidden gem again! 🙂

This was our second stay, and like the first, it was excellent. The apartment is just about perfect for a couple: it's small with one bedroom, but it's clean and well equipped with almost everything you'd need. The kitchen is tiny, but has everything needed for light meals. The hostess is friendly, eager to help, and an excellent communicator. We plan on making this our 'go to' place when we visit Salem. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time! The apartment was spotless and in the best location. Such a historic building in the heart of Salem, we couldnt have wished for anything better. Also Rachel was a wondeful host, really responsive and fleixble with check in. Thanks so much for an amazing stay! We can't wait to return.

Great spot to stay in Salem. Walkable to all the main attractions and spots, yet in a quieter area of town. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Salem!

The apartment was great! My brother and I needed a place for our adventure in Salem and this location was exactly exactly that and more. It’s in a historic district with other beautiful homes all around. The apartment itself was warm, clean and inviting. Definitely easy to walk into town which is great considering how hard it is to find a place to park in October. In all, a great find! We could not rate it any higher. You won’t be disappointed!

Rachel's place was perfect for our Girls weekend Salem. It was quaint, clean, within walking distance to everything, absolutely perfect. A heads up, the stairs are a bit steep, if you have heavy luggage, it'll give you a workout getting them up the stairs, but totally worth it.

We loved staying right on Essex st for our first stay in Salem. It was very easy to walk right downtown into all the touristy areas of Salem. This house is just about as close as you can get to all the most exciting areas of Salem. The house itself is historic and very neat and nice. Parking is right on the street and other than the first night we arrived we had no trouble parking right by the front door.
