This cozy historic bookstore has been transformed into a chic 2 bedroom space for a unique Rockport experience! Enjoy the convenience (and rare amenity in dowtown Rockport!) of 2 reserved parking spaces. Step into this pre-1900 space and you'll be greeted by an open space full of rich colors and light. The vaulted ceilings and exposed beams are the perfect backdrop to this central gathering spot. A colorful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for meals. Relax on the sofa and stream your favorites on the 4K smart TV. On one end of this living space you'll find the first bedroom. More high ceilings and exposed beams along with a large king sized mattress make this feel like a spacious retreat. On the opposite end of the living area you'll step up to find the washer+dryer and full bathroom with standup shower. The bedroom on this end of the apartment has colorful accents and a convenient remote workspace. All spaces have been professionally designed with gorgeous details and colors throughout. The historic character of this charming New England space has been preserved for your enjoyment without sacrificing comfort or modern style! Not to mention you are just steps away from all that quaint downtown Rockport has to offer!

House Rules

*Rental Agreement is required to be signed after reservation has been confirmed. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of reservation. *Damage Protection included - we have included a $28 charge in your total quote that covers your purchase of $1500 of "all risk" damage protection coverage on the rental property. This protection is purchased in lieu of a cash damage deposit. Coverage details are spelled out in the rental agreement. *Booking age should be 21 *Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. $500 fine will apply for excessive noise during these hours. PENALTIES: • Smoking $250 • Pets $250 • Noise during quiet hours $500 • Extra Person beyond the number of guest reserved is subject to $25 per person per night • Damages - subject to cost of the item for repair or replacement

The Bookstore was conveniently located just a few steps to the ocean, local restaurants, and shops! Rockport is a sweet, quaint, New England gem. Rachel’s place was super cozy, well decorated, and pristine. This is our second time at one of Rachel’s spaces. She is very communicative, professional, and proactive. Highly recommend!

Wonderful with convenient parking, steps from the shops and water, while nicely set back for peace a quiet and a sense of hidden retreat. The property was immaculately clean and cozy with two really comfortable large king-bed bedrooms. Very well equipped. 100% hope to stay again!!!

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful, historic building—full of character yet updated with a fresh, modern feel. The space was thoughtfully designed and made great use of every corner. The king beds were super comfortable, loved all the extra pillows in the rooms, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked—even down to details like a blow dryer with a diffuser. The location couldn’t be better, with everything in town just a short walk away.

Great location, easy to walk down the street to the shops and the water! Rachel was very helpful with easy instructions for all the things! The space was beautiful as well, I loved the brick and the color of the kitchen cabinets.

This is my second stay at a property hosted by Rachel. Both were impeccable! Wonderfully decorated with all the things you would need to make your stay easy. She has thought of everything. The places were spotless! For my most recent stay, the accommodations were exactly as described in the listing. It is close to most everything beaches , dining, shopping, etc. I will definitely stay here or at any of Rachel’s properties.

The Bookstore was perfect for our family of four! Our adult daughters had their space, we had ours, with a common area in between. The apartment was cozy and inviting. Rachel was always responsive and attentive. We will be back!
